My brother and I worked on it for about four hours tonight to come up with a rugged layout.  Hands-on functionality will be added shortly (as well as real icons for the buttons), then I will begin the process of working with a database to store the users information.<br /><br />I don&rsquo;t want to release any screenshots as of yet, but I&rsquo;ll try to be more consistent in keeping you all posted.  Sorry I haven&rsquo;t had time to work on the application much until this break ... </span><span style="font-size:11px; color:#2B2B2B;"><em>Real</em></span><span style="font-size:11px; color:#2B2B2B;"> homework calls!</span></p>]]></content:encoded></item><item><title>Homework Development Announced</title><dc:creator>alexdlaird@gmail.com</dc:creator><dc:subject>Homework</dc:subject><dc:date>2008-11-05T21:39:10-06:00</dc:date><link>http://homework.alexlaird.net/index_files/homework-1-announced.html#unique-entry-id-0</link><guid isPermaLink="true">http://homework.alexlaird.net/index_files/homework-1-announced.html#unique-entry-id-0</guid><content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="font-size:11px; color:#2B2B2B;">After frustrations with several other assignment planner applications (buggy, lacking important features, inconsistent updates, etc.), I&rsquo;ve finally resolved to create my own assignment planner that will capture all of my favorite features in several of the most popular assignment planner applications and resolve them in my cross-platform application which I am calling Homework.<br /><br />I have just begun work on the initial release today, so it should be a few months before I release a beta, but I&rsquo;ll keep you posted on my progress. The application will be written entirely in Java 1.5 so users of all platforms (including 32-bit Mac OS X users) will be able to benefit from it.<br /><br />That&rsquo;s all for now!</span></p>]]></content:encoded></item></channel>
