After frustrations with several other assignment planner applications (buggy, lacking important features, inconsistent updates, etc.), I’ve finally resolved to create my own assignment planner that will capture all of my favorite features in several of the most popular assignment planner applications and resolve them in my cross-platform application which I am calling Homework.

I have just begun work on the initial release today, so it should be a few months before I release a beta, but I’ll keep you posted on my progress. The application will be written entirely in Java 1.5 so users of all platforms (including 32-bit Mac OS X users) will be able to benefit from it.
